| Other musical activities: I am a guitarist and have been playing for about 26 years. I gigged for about 9 years (1985-93) on the local music scene in two bands (Trespass - guess what band we liked, and an alternative cover band Monkey House). Our band Trespass got an original song into the finals of the Seagrams talent search in Albany NY in 1987, and actually got played on the radio (once...ha ha). I also write reviews for Progressive World. |
| Hobbies / obsessions: I recently purchased some Home Recording software and hope to get back into writing and recording original music. My other obstacles include programming my drum machine, and overcoming my less than stellar keyboard skills. And let's not even get into the singing part....I have 6 guitars (Ovation acoustic/electric 6 & 12 string, Fender Strat, Kramer Pacer, Ovation Preacher, Ovation Solidbody 12 string (the shark fin shape like David Cassidy on the Partridge family). Yes - you read that correctly, I referenced the Partridge family. I also own a Fender Jazz Bass and Kawai Synth. Ok - enough about music equipment. I also love sports, both playing and watching. I currently play as much golf as possible and softball too. It is not uncommon for me to watch football on a Sunday for 12 hours!!! Go Yankees & Oakland Raiders!!!!! |
