Redd is an Argentinian band who released two albums in the late 70's. Their sound is somewhat different from the surreal hard rock style that characterizes a lot of Argentine bands (Invisible, Color Humano, Ave Rock, etc.). To me, they sound like a more electric and rocking version of the Argentine band Magma with maybe some touches of MIA added. In contrast to those two bands, electric guitar (instead of keyboards) is the most dominant instrument on the Redd albums. The guitar playing is very clean and inventive with very little distortion on the guitar sound. Overall, the music is airy guitar-led progressive with some symphonic elements as well. Nice albums, but not overwhelming.
