Sjef Oellers 14-July-2001 Ramlösa Kvällar

Ramlösa Kvällar is an one album project that includes Samla Mammas Manna members Coste Apetrea and Lars Hollmer. It is a rather lightweight album where the band takes its inspiration from a myriad of styles and influences: Scandinavian folk, jazz, African music, some oriental/balkan shadings, a bit of blues, dance music of various origins, etc. Their more ethnic oriented music is more or less comparable to Embryo or Archimedes Badkar, but Ramlösa Kvällar is not nearly as good. Other parts of the album are reminiscent of Lars Hollmer's solo albums and Samla/Zamla Mammas Manna. Mostly pleasant, but nothing special.
