Bombastic keyboard/bass/drums trio. Not unlike Ars Nova or Social
Tension. The keyboardist is from the band Novalla, but, I do not know
that this has always been the case, because the band's first album
came out in 1983 or so. The band maybe nearly completely different
from the initial line-up. The vocals on the album are really cheesy
but, luckily there is very little of them.

This is a new band by the leader (drummer) of Ruins. Also
featuring the guitarist of Bondage Fruit. Some songs are like
the last 30 crazy seconds of "21st Century Schizoid Man",
except that Korekyokin does it for several minutes.
If you have a heart condition, or are pregnant, you should
not listen to this album.

Three pretty little ladies from Japan playing hard-edged instrumental
keyboard-trio progressive. Many consider this to be their best album.
They are deservedly one of the more well known and popular progressive
bands from Japan today. After the bass player left the band, they seem
to have opted to have a second keyboardist instead of finding a
replacement bassist.

Avant prog. The music is carried along mostly by saxophone, clarinets
and wild guitar. The band is influenced by Picchio dal Pozzo, which
is especially apparent on the album cover art-work which is a mimic
of PdP's _ Abbiamo Tutti i Suoi Problemi_. The last minute of the song
featured here has a guitar/drums rave-up seemingly in homage to John McLaughlin
& Billy Cobham's on "Phenomenon: Compulsion" from the album
_Electric Guitarist_. Most of the songs are very short, and
cover a lot of ideas. Good stuff.

It took Ain Soph 6 years to release their second album after
_A Story of Mysterious Forest_. The music is an instrumental
Canterbury influenced symphonic/fusion. Primary influences
seem to be Camel and Caravan, as well as American fusion.

From the liner notes of the CD: "A compilation album by four
symphonic rock bands. They were famous in Tokyo-scene, but,
unfortunately they could not release any albums because time
was early yet. Tunes are taken from self-made master or
live performance." The track here is about 1/2 of a very long
excellent track by Aquapolis.
