# | Artist | Song (click to play) | Album | Year | CD label |
1 | Campo di Marte | Terzo Tempo | Campo di Marte | 1973 | Mellow |
And another track from CdM's only album. Hard-prog with great guitar.
2 | Metamorfosi | Razzisti / Lucifero (Politicanti) | Inferno | 1972 | Vinyl Magic / SiWan |
Two more short songs from the classic dark prog album. The second song has some tremendously awesome vocals.
3 | Devil Doll | Eliogabalus (excerpt) | Eliogabalus | 1990 | Hurdy Gurdy / Renaissance (Wild Places) |
This is Devil Doll's 2nd release. They do not have a weak album. I like them all. Although, this one is perhaps my least favorite of the 5.
4 | H2O | h2o | Unopuntosei | 1997 | Kaliphonia |
Here is part of one of the 4 very long tracks of H2O's only album so far. Good dramatic rich symphonic.
5 | Goblin | Markos | Suspiria | 1977 | Cinevox |
I do not have this album, but, Roy DeRousse was kind enough to
record a couple of tracks for me. Most people regard this as
Goblin's best album.
Here is Roy's take on the album tracks: 1- 6:00 typical goblin horror stuff 2- 3:13 scary devil doll-like stuff 3 - short intro to 4 4- 5:19 fascinating soundtrack piece, but not much of a song 5- 4:05 very experimental. lots going on! not as goblin-y though 6- 6:05 the most progish of the bunch 7- 6:16 fusion! 8- 1:52 a light classical / turn of the century pops thing
6 | Il Balletto di Bronzo | Secondo Incontro / Terzo Incontro | Ys | 1972 | Polydor |
Here are 2 more songs from this essential Italian prog classic.
