1 Hostsonaten Mirrorcloud Mirrorgames 1998 Mellow Records
This is a side project of Finisterre's Fabio Zuffanti. It's a lazy symphonic that reminds me of Landberk's first album, with it's laidback, almost bluesy introspective feel. It is a nice album to relax to. Not a good album to listen to on a road trip or you may be lulled into a dream by the lilting guitar serenades and rich symphonic backdrop.

2 Abiogenesi Ile St. Louis Abiogenesi 1995 Black Widow
Simple hard-rock that harkens back to the late 60's and early 70's. The vocalist on this song reminds me of Rod Evans from the first incarnation of Deep Purple (and later Caprtain Beyond). It sounds pretty good, but, it is way too repetitious to keep my interest. The songs are long, but, they do not use it to develop any ideas. I have seen the group compared to Atomic Rooster, but, I am not too familiar with them. They seem to have some kind of attempted "dark" Lovecraft imagery, but, it comes across more like Count Chocula or Frankenberry.

3 Prowlers Dolce Metamorfosi Sweet Metamorfosi 1997 Mellow Records
Folky symphonic with female vocals that are soft and delicate in a style similar to light symphonic/neo bands like Quidam. The music is sometime reminiscent of classic Italian prog bands like Latte E Miele.

4 Deus Ex Machina Hostis Deus Ex Machina 1993 Kaliphonia
DEM is making some of the best progressive music today. Their albums are full of intricate instrumental interplay and complexities that may not reveal themselves unless you listen closely. This is their second album and already shows a band of great refinement and vision. One minute the music is triumphant and powerful, and the next it is delicate and beautiful. The instrumentation includes the usual assortment of guitars and keyboards, as well as a smattering of violin. Excellent and recommended.

5 H20 Lo Specchio Unopuntosei 1995 Kaliphonia
Modern symphonic that is largely on the mellow side. Lots of acoustic guitars, piano, mellotron. The music does get more upbeat often enough, but, it is still more in a dreamy melodic style, with flowing highly-reverbed guitars and orchestral keyboard timbre's. A very nice album.
