Nice bluesy hard-rock progressive with swirling hammond organ and great
guitar playing. I love the rich sound of the keys exemplified on this
album and others of the early 70's. It's very soothing and cathartic.

A nice cosmic krautrock offering. It reminds me somewhat of early Jade
Warrior in the guitar style, flute and the use of some eastern influences in
the music. Good atmospheric psychedelic/space-rock/progressive.

This is Out of Focus' first of 3 great albums mixing hard-rock progressive
with psychedelia and jazz. The vocalist reminds me of Steve Hillage. Great
fuzz guitar sound, hammond organ and flute meld together very nicely.
All Out of Focus albums are worth checking out.

An interesting folk/psychedelic/ethinic/progressive album. Comparable to
Third Ear Band, Tea & Symphony, Algarnas Tradgard, and Yatha Sidhra. Just
2 guys recording in a studio multi tracking guitars, flute, piano, cello,
violin, synth, and percussion. A meditative and reflective piece of music.

Eloy |

Philips |
|
Eloy's first is harder and heavier than their later more symphonic
works. More emphasis on guitar ala Deep Purple. Their are hints of Pink
Floyd influence, which became much more apparent later, but there seems
to be an even more dominant Jethro Tull influence, especially in the
vocal style. Decent, but, not an essential piece of the Eloy discography.

Great inventive progressive with tinges of jazz influence. Comparable to
Eiliff with it's refined and complex compositions. The guitarist Jochen Petersen
became a producer for the Brain label in Germany.
One of the best re-issues on the Second Battle label. Highly recommended.
