This is Wigwam's 3rd release. Features Jukka Gustavson and Jim Pembroke, both on
keyboards and vocals, and Pekka Pohjola on bass. I love Gustavson's voice.
I am looking forward to hearing his late 70's and early 80's solo releases.
His 90's releases have more of a fusion element to them, with some classical
refinement. His voice still sounds as good as ever, too.

This is Jim Pembroke under the pseudonym Hot Thumbs O'Riley. Features members
of Wigwam and Tasavallan Presidentti. This album is definately a "for fun's sake"
recording. There is lots of silly lyrics and talking in between the songs. I
think that perhaps, he was trying to do a Mothers of Invention type atmosphere.
I was half expecting someone to say "Hi, I'm Jimmy Carl Black, and I'm the Indian
of the group". You can really hear Pekka Pohjola thumping away on the bass on
this tune.

This album has some smokin' guitar by Jukka Hauru. Very hard to find
on CD or LP. It is well worth the search, though.

This is from Pekka's 1st of over a dozen solo lp's. It was made between Wigwam
albums _Fairyport_ and _Being_. There are lots of horns and presents a sound
not unlike Zappa's late 60's and early 70's jazzier albums.

This album has alot of similarties of style with Van Der Graaf Generator and
early King Crimson. But, it is completely original music. This is a must for
fans of VDGG, as long as you do not mind "foreign vocals". I am looking
forward to hearing their second album _Gearfar_ which still has not been
released on CD legitimately.
