1 Crucis Todo tiempo posible Crucis 1975 Record Runner
One of the most highly regarded bands from Argentina. Much of Crucis' first album seems to be inspired by Camel's first (self-titled) album. But, the music is much more energetic and complex than Camel. Their is atrong fusion element to the music. The CD re-issue contains both Crucis releases. I find them comparable to the Spanish band Fusioon.

2 La Maquina de Hacer Pajaros Rock and Roll La Maquina de Hacer Pajaros 1975 Microfon
Kind of a prog-pop thing. There is a strong emphasis on the vocals much of the time, with the music seemingly written to be complementary to the lyrical melodies. Seems more akin to mid-70's radio friendly music like Loggins & Messina, CSN, Little River Band, etc, etc.

3 Mia Crifana Y Tamilstenes Cornonstipicum 1978 Marquee
This is their third and final album. Very refined compositions, on the level of Genesis' Selling England... The vocals on this song remind me a little of National Health, but, the album is almost entirely instrumental. The CD includes a half dozen songs from a live album. The album succeeds the best in it's quieter moments of flute, acoustic guitar, and quiet keyboards that weave a complex tapestry of soothing melodies. This album is quite rewarding if you listen attentively.

4 Horizonte Vidala del Corazon Horizonte 1977 Mardel-X
Excellent progressive with a folk element spiced with South American instruments like pan-flute and assorted percussion instruments. The music reminds me of the Chilean group Los Jaivas, particularly on the album's first track which features pan-flute. This CD re-issue is also a 2-on-1 CD containing both of Horizonte's album releases. The album has somewhat of a dreamy character that reminds me of some 70's Scandanavian prog albums.

5 Agnus XXI Century Pinturas y Espresiones 1980 Progressive Rock Worldwide
Beautiful refined progressive with female vocals and lots of flute. Some of the thin fuzz guitar lead reminds me of Asia Minor. There is a wide variety of overlayed guitars and other instruments playing a complex web of melodic lines. Very nice. They only released this one album. Comparable to Mia.
